Charging at home? Let us pay you for it.
Since January 1, 2026 you receive an ERE payout for the electricity you charge with. Zeres registers your kWh's with the NEa, trades the Emission Reduction Units on the market and pays out every quarter.
20,000 km per year = € 480 in your account
With an average electric car (5 km per kWh) you charge about 4,000 kWh per year at home. That yields approximately 1,317 EREs. After sale on the emissions market and deducting our commission we pay out € 480 — on average € 0.12 per kWh.
ERE market price ~€ 0.46 (April 2026, fluctuates between € 0.40 and € 0.51). Emissions market sale fees ~1.5%. This is a realistic example; we cannot guarantee the revenue.
