What are EREs, and why do you earn from them?

Since January 1, 2026, Emission Reduction Units (EREs) have replaced the old HBE scheme. One ERE represents one kilogram of avoided CO₂ emissions. By charging electrically at home or at your business you generate EREs — we register them with the NEa, trade them on the emissions market at the best possible price, and pay you out quarter after quarter. No administrative burden: sign up once and stay fully supported.
